Walk to School day was a blast! Let's see if we can get even more students to participate in the Spring by promoting it and having some locations to meet up and walk.
We had a fire drill during specials last week and we discovered some areas for improvement. This is why we practice so often. When we have a drill during specials, students will remain with the specialists. The classroom teachers will support the specialists that have multiple combined classes or large classes. We will collect attendance from the specialists as they are responsible for the students at that time.
Since emergencies can occur without warning during all times of the day, we will have some drills that occur during specials, lunch, breakfast, and transitions. By practicing during these times, we will be able to tweak our plans in the event of an actual emergency.
Our Thanksgiving Family Luncheons will be held on the following dates:
K - November 8, 2019
1 - November 15, 2019
2 - November 18, 2019

The teacher work area in the hallway by Ms. Cutshall's room has been moved to the PLC/IB room (55). You will find the paper cutters, book binders and die cutters there.
